Success Leaves Clues: Ep160 with entrepreneur Ute Shaw, Founder of 24 Good Deeds (Canada)
Episode Details

Always hoping to create awareness about global challenges, Ute Shaw shares her fascinating and inspiring story as an entrepreneur. With more than three decades dedicated to a career in TV production and celebrity management, Ute was looking to create some meaningful change in the world and in 2020 launched 24 GOOD DEEDS here in Canada based on 24 GOOD DEEDS originally founded by Sebastian Wehkamp in 2011 in Germany.

The 24 GOOD DEEDS Charity Advent Calendar collects donations for social and ecological projects and supports 24 projects by 24 different registered Canadian charities each year, both locally and globally. These meaningful initiatives focus on healthcare, nutrition, environment, education, and nature and by donating as little as $24, a donor supports everything from feeding an orphaned baby elephant to childcare for a mother undergoing cancer treatment - 24 unique initiatives annually. Not only is this donation process more fun but it also provides reassurance that donations serve a truly meaningful purpose.

For companies, the 24 GOOD DEEDS Charity Advent Calendar makes an impactful gift for their clients, customers, staff and partners—a fantastic alternative to traditional holiday gifting. It has also become a fantastic tool for classrooms, allowing teachers to help students learn about global challenges and get kids thinking about how they can address them.
